Tribe of Judah

I read the bible alot on my spare time and I must confess the more I read it the more interesting it continues to be . Sometimes when I read certain books or passages my mind creates all sorts of vivid visualizations of events described in the bible.

One examples comes from the book of Samuel, Picture a desolate and vast valley with two massive armies encamped on each end at the base of surrounding mountains staring the other down. One army is that of the Israelites, God's chosen. The other is none other than the Philistines, an advanced and powerful nation for their time. To make matters worse  their champion was a monstrous warrior equiped with bronze armor and spear that could make any man shake with fear.

Day after day he would challenge the Israelites for anyone that would fight him but they trembled with fear and no one had the courage to face him, save a young Israelite boy named David carrying only sling and stone but armed with his faith in god. He faces and defeats this giant known as Goliath. The Israelites with their regained confidence swarms from their mountain and completely routs the Philistine army. If that isnt God displaying his greatness in those that believe in him I dont know what is.

Or for another instance God descending and dwelling upon Mount Sinai in fire and glory, or when God led the Israelites fresh out of egypt by a pillar of cloud during the day and a pillar of fire by night. These are just a few of the situations I have read in the bible which which to me would be awesome, even humbling to have been able to witness. I decided one day on the spur of a moment to take one passage out of the bible and create a whole background that is themed for it. This one happens to be of Revelations 5:5. I plan on making many many more!

I cannot as of yet create the art to appear in proper sizes for the background images. So as of now these are just standing samples of art I have created though at some point they will be available for desktop backgrounds. I am sorry about this and I look forward to being able to post them as such.
